Irene Lyla Lee
Irene Lyla Lee is a professional writer and founder of Bending Tree Education. Since 2018 Irene has been a private tutor in both ELA (including tests like the ISEE and SSAT) and French. Before this, Irene created and taught curriculum for first through ninth graders at the “I Have a Dream” Foundation where she was trained in the early intervention Reading Rescue program. While there, she managed the site’s mentoring program and witnessed the value of a sustained mentorship connection. She is now a practicing writer providing creative lessons for students to achieve mastery in the art of words.

Sebastian Sarti has been a full-time private tutor for the last decade. He’s helped students with standardized tests (from the ISEE to the SAT to the SHSAT and more), math (up to Calculus BC), middle-school and high-school science (AP’s included), Spanish, and English Language Arts. He’s helped students gain admission to and excel at various New York City public and private schools, including Dalton, Brearley, Trinity, Horace Mann, Stuyvesant, and Laguardia. He prides himself on building personal connections with his students so that they feel comfortable asking questions and being themselves.
